Adding it to your stretching repertoire? What's your normal stretching repertoire? Are you trying to become more flexible?

2-3 times a week I do leg stretches and then go for a bike ride or jog. I do the hamstring, groin (butterfly), quads (sitting and ‘the flamingo’), a gluteal and lumbar rotation stretch, and a standing wall calf stretch.

Apparently I don’t cover what’s needed to do that position in all these. ^^;

I honestly have no idea either. Tried it too and similar thing, but more an issue with my ankles and feet bent oddly and painfully (my quads are flexible enough to almost bend that much). I usually just stack a few books or something ^^;

That’s what I do too. It is more realistic to raise up what you’re riding anyway, but the anatomical question still stands. >.<
